It is important for teachers in schools to have sufficient AI literacy, as AI has become an integral part of classroom teaching and is important for preparing students for an increasingly technology-connected future. a good understanding of AI will help teachers to select and evaluate appropriate and effective learning software. With so many learning apps and programs to choose from, choosing the best one can be confusing and time-consuming. AI-knowledgeable teachers can easily evaluate the software and select the one that fits the needs of the class. To create teachers who are literate about AI, PUI-PT Combinatorics and Graph held a service for school teachers at Senior High School 1 Paiton, Probolinggo (10/5). Also present at this event Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. and Zainur Rasyid Ridlo, S.Pd., M.Pd. as a presenter.

Prof. Dafik in his presentation said that AI literacy is also important to prepare students for a future that continues to develop. AI is already being used in many fields, including job automation, manufacturing, healthcare and finance. By understanding the basic principles of AI, teachers can help students understand the latest concepts and technologies, thereby preparing them for an increasingly technology-connected future. Prof. Dafik also introduced the use of GPT Chat, an AI that can assist teachers in preparing teaching materials at school. Continuing the discussion Prof. Dafik, Zainur also explained about the use of smart sensors that are integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT). In education, IoT sensors can help teachers monitor student performance, increase classroom safety, manage energy consumption, and improve the overall learning experience. With integrated sensors, the data obtained can be used to make more informed and effective decisions in managing the learning environment, explained Zainur.
