IPDP 2025: Face Recognition in Video Images Against the Variation in Illumination and Pose using Soft Computing

We are proud to announce the implementation of the International Post Doctoral Program (IPDP) 2025, an international academic collaboration involving the University of Jember (Indonesia), Galgotias University (India), and Vidya Pratishthans Art's Science and Commerce College Baramati (India), under the coordination of the CGANT (Combinatorics, Graph Theory, and Network Topology Research Group). This program fosters interdisciplinary research through global partnerships and collaborative supervision.

Research Title:

Face Recognition in Video Images Against the Variation in Illumination and Pose using Soft Computing

Supervisory Team:

  • Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. (University of Jember, Indonesia)
  • Prof. Dr. R. Sunder (Galgotias University, India)
  • Dr. Arika Indah Kristiana, S.Pd., M.Si. (University of Jember, Indonesia)

Postdoctoral Researcher: Dr. Joshi Gajanan Ratnakarrao (Vidya Pratishthans Art's Science and Commerce College Baramati, India).

This research contributes to the fields of computer vision and intelligent recognition systems, utilizing soft computing approaches such as fuzzy logic, neural networks, or evolutionary algorithms to improve accuracy and reliability. Through this program, the University of Jember reinforces its global academic partnerships and supports innovation in AI-based security and surveillance technologies.
