CGANT UNIVERSITAS JEMBER

Combinatorics, Graph Theory and Network Topology

Focus Group Discussion: Developing a Joint Research in Combinatorics and its applications

Dr. Darmaji, S.Si., M.T., an expert in Mathematics from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), visited the PUI-PT Combinatorics and Graph, CGANT, University of Jember (2/7). This visit was in the context of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) themed "Development of Reputable Join Research in Combinatorics and Graphs." In this FGD, Dr. Darmaji shared his knowledge and experience in the latest research in combinatorics and graphs. The discussion was attended by a number of researchers and academics from various institutions, which aims to strengthen research collaboration and improve the quality and reputation of research results in these fields. Dr. Darmaji said that the development of research in combinatorics and graphs is very important to face the challenges of science and technology today. "Collaboration between institutions like this will strengthen the research network and enable the creation of new innovations that benefit the wider community," said Dr. Darmaji.

The FGD also discussed research funding opportunities, publications in reputable international journals, and strategies to increase research collaboration between universities in Indonesia. Head of PUI-PT Combinatorics and Graph, Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D., appreciated Dr. Darmaji's visit and contribution in this FGD. "We hope this collaboration can continue and make a significant contribution to the development of science, especially in the field of combinatorics and graphs," said Prof. Dafik. The visit ended with sharing between Dr. Darmaji and UNEJ students who will take their Final Project. They said that they were interested in exploring graph theory but had not found an application idea that was in accordance with current phenomena.
