To open up teachers' insights in providing an understanding of climate change literacy to students in their schools, PUI-PT Kombinatorika and Graf held a national seminar 2023 (1/8). At this seminar, 3 lecturers were present as resource persons, namely Prof. Drs. Dafik. M.Sc.. Ph.D., Dr. Arika Indah Kristiana, S.Si., M.Pd. and Zainur Rasyid Ridlo, S.Pd., M.Pd. In his remarks Prof. Dafik said that climate change is one of the biggest challenges faced by mankind in today's modern era. This phenomenon not only affects the environment, but also has a significant impact on social, economic and ecological life. To overcome this challenge, understanding and awareness of climate change is crucial in order to encourage collective action to protect our planet. In the context of education, teachers have a key role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand, deal with and overcome climate change. Prof. Dafik also added that one of the innovative approaches that emerged was the application of Research Based Learning (RBL) based machine learning technology in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. This approach has great potential to facilitate students in understanding the phenomenon of climate change holistically and scientifically. The event then continued with a presentation session by 14 speakers and closed with a group photo.
