As a form of downstream graph theory, PUI-PT Combinatorics and Graph held a workshop with the theme "Development of Creative Batik Motifs Based on Graph Theory and Transformation with Local Wisdom". Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. as Chairperson of PUI-PT Combinatorics and Graph said that to obtain batik graf required several stages. Such as making labeling of graphs from local edge antimagic coloring, doing disjoint unions, doing arrangements, choosing the right colors, and finally adding batik motifs that are characteristic of the area. So that this batik can be said to be a batik graph that has local wisdom. The event was also attended by batik makers in the Jember Regency, such as from Kaliwates, Ledokombo, and Silo. Bram Safeo Lefta as the batik maker who attended revealed that this graph-based batik pattern is unique, besides having elements of art there is also an element of science. Generally, to get a batik motif, you need to do brainstorming and discussion with friends. Said the man who is familiarly called feo. Given the large number of students who also conduct research on graph theory-based batik motifs, Prof. Dafik hopes to establish cooperation with these batik makers. So that the batik motif in the form of an idea can be realized in the form of cloth or clothes that are ready to wear.
