Apart from ICCGANT, PUI PT Combinatorics and Graph this year also held the International Conference on Neural Networks and Machine Learning (ICONNSMAL). To prepare for the international conference, this time PUI PT Kombinatorika and Graf held the Pre-ICONNSMAL 2022 webinar (26/10). This year's ICONNSMAL is the first international conference. The first speaker was delivered by Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D with the title "Development of a Research Roadmap Through the Formation of a Research Group in Generating High Novelty Research". He is a lecturer at the Postgraduate Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher and Education, University of Jember. “The most important thing in doing research is following the trend. Like the current trend, which is about big data and machine learning. So it would be nice to apply this trend in the research that we will do," said the professor who graduated from Combinatorics and Graphs, UoB, Victoria, Australia.

The second speaker was delivered by Dr. Arika Indah Kristiana, S.Si., M.Pd. with the title "Article Writing Techniques and Their Publications". He is a lecturer at the Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher and Education, University of Jember. Arika explained that there are many benefits from us writing articles such as conveying a fact, finding solutions to problems, and spreading knowledge. The last speaker was Zainur Rasyid Ridlo, S.Pd., M.Pd. He is a lecturer at the Science Education, Faculty of Teacher and Education, University of Jember. Zainur said that the journal published by ICONNSMAL had been indexed by WOS and included in the Atlantis Press proceedings. So for the researchers who working in the field of neural networks and machine learning no need to worry about this conference. ICONNSMAL is planned to be held on 29-30 November 2022.
