Artificial intelligence technology is a technology that is developing very rapidly. Many human jobs that were originally done manually are replaced by robots. Artificial intelligence technology is a technology that seeks to create intelligence that matches humans. Examples of these technologies are augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). We encounter many AR and VR technologies in everyday life. This technology can also be utilized in the field of education as a learning medium. Continuing this discussion, this time PUI PT Kombinatorika and Graf held an AR and VR based RBL-STEM learning workshop. "RBL-STEM learning refers to a learning model that integrates research stages in the classroom. Furthermore, the problems in class are solved with four scientific studies, namely science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, "explained Prof. Drs. Dafik, M.Sc., Ph.D. as a speaker in this workshop. "Augmented Reality is a technology that combines two-dimensional and three-dimensional virtual objects into a real environment, then projects them as reality in real time," said the second speaker, Zainur Rasyid R., S.Pd., M.Pd.
Zainur added that to make AR a learning medium, we can use the Assemblr Edu application on a smartphone. "Virtual reality is a technology that allows users to enter a condition that is visualized as if it looks real," said the last speaker, Rifki Ilham Baihaki, S.Si., M.Mat. Rifki added that to bring VR technology as a learning medium, we need a tool called VR Box. This tool is in the form of glasses and is used to view the video display into VR. With this workshop, it is hoped that teachers and gentlemen can use AR and VR technology as learning media. From this workshop PUI PT Combinatorics and Graph will also fund learning ideas for teachers and fathers in schools using AR and VR, then present them at the 2022 CGANT National Seminar.
