PUI PT-Combinatorics and Graph for the first time held a conference with the theme of machine learning and neural networks. This conference is called the International Conference on Neural Networks and Machine Learning. The first day of ICONNSMAL was opened with remarks by Prof. Drs. Bambang Kuswandi, M.Sc., Ph.D. as Deputy Chancellor 3 of the University of Jember. Prof. Bambang said that this conference was one of the steps in introducing the University of Jember to the international world. With this conference, Prof. Bambang hopes that the University of Jember can establish joint research with several universities in India, especially in the field of agriculture using advanced technology. The first keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Jumaily who presented material entitled "Applied Machine Learning Issues: Health Technology Case Study". Prof Adel is a professor of machine learning at the Faculty of Engineering and IT University Technology Sydney. The second keynote speaker is Dr. R. Sunder, M.Sc., M.Tech., Ph.D who presented material on "Optic Disc Segmentation and Glaucoma Classification on Retinal Images using Deep Learning Models". Sunder is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology India. The third speaker is Prof. Drs. Dafik., M.Sc., Ph.D. who presented material on "On Spatial Temporal Graph Neural Networks fpr Flood Flow Time Series Forecasting". The next event was followed by a parallel session by each presenter.
